If you have IAP how do you present the prices to users? And how do you deal with the app released in different countries with presumably different currencies.

How you present the price in-game is your choice really, which currency you want to show, though I guess US dollar is most common. In terms of different countries, don't worry about that, Apple will show the appropriate currency for that country when the prompt pops up for purchase

Thanks. Yes, I was referring to presenting to the user, so I guess I'll go with US dollars.

Hi there, I am designing my latest game and have come across the same problem! Is there anyway of finding the users locale so that i could at least do a couple of different currencies by using the change image behaviour?

If they're not in one of the countries i have an image for then default to USD.

If you found a way around this it would be great to know

If you look at something like Temple Run - a huge game that makes millions - the currency indication looks like a default font. I am sure there is an option to say something like this.

    Display Text > game.Tier.1

That way it gets the correct value from the users own store location - some people here in New Zealand use the US store - so you need to do it from the store not the geographic location.

Totally hypothetical - but that would be a nice feature eh :)

the important point here is to localize the pricing language when you add iAP for all languages - so translate the short version "ie. full version" to all languages.......very important

    Hi, every one.
    I'm a Japanese developer.
I think matarua's indication is very very important.
For general people, prices need to be displayed with their own currency unit.
I strongly hope that the GS team to support this feature!
