For 99 cents

Why does everyone expect a angry birds or infinity blade caliber game for 99 cents?!
I got a "don't buy this app review" from someone with angry birds in his name.
Every game can't be a huge blockbuster.
Rant mode off

Yeah, the "give me five stars and I'll give you content" is nothing more than a bribe for high marks. That is a really slimy tactic.

No one read reviews - when I launched my first game, I used to worry about reviews. Now I know, that most of customers don't read them :)

I've had people praise my game for the graphics and other reviewers make nasty comments like "the graphics look cheap" - lol! I had another guy who bought the Mac version complain that he couldn't figure out how to jump, so he left a 3 star review (and also emailed a tech support question asking the same thing).

I've made several thousand dollars off a game that has over 30 combined 1 star bad reviews
