100% NEW, drag on a single axis?

I am new to GameSalad I just started learning it this week.

I think I have been doing ok so far however I have not been able to find anywhere if it is possible to restrict drag to a single axis relative to my actor? specifically the X axis in this case.

Any help wold be greatly appreciated!

If you mean while you are building/editing a scene you can hold down your shift key while you drag an actor to restrict it's movement to horizontal or vertical.

If you mean in 'code' you can use the move behavior (or others) to move an actor only on the X axis as well.

That makes scene however I want the actor to be able to move in the direction that it has rotated which I have managed to do so far but if I turn the actor side on it continues to move the actor in that direction. what i would like it to do is slow down and stop when it is side on to the direction it is traveling? if that makes scene XD
