Game center non existant.

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had had a smiler problem to me and if they knew how to fix it?

So I set up Game Center according to Master Tshirtbooth's tutorials online. It works fantastically on the computer but when I bring it over to iphone it wont launch (through ad hoc, game center wont launch, app launches fine). So I did some research and looked for an answer but have yet to find one.

I have tried:
-Setting game center log in to fire up after 2 seconds into the second scene.
-Setting up a button which will automatically log the player in to game center when pushed
-not using the log in at all and just trying to display the leaderboards.
-attempting to post to leaderboards w/o logging in (I decided to try something crazy)
-Double checked to make sure all the behaviors were checked to ON

So at the risk of sounding like a broken record the Game Center will not do anything on the iphone/ipad (no error messages) nothing like the behavior is not even there, but everything works like it is suppose to on my mac.

I know it is probably something stupid I missed but I'm lost as to what it could be.

    Do you see the login message, or not even that?

    Make sure you are connected to the network and that there are no restrictions on the device.

    Also, did you define the game in iTunes Connect and enabled Game Center? Created leader boards or achievements?

    I did not see the login message. I get nothing. I did define the game in itunes and enabled game center as far as what was told to do in Tshirtbooth's tutorial. () Not sure if there is more I need to do?

    Make sure you are connected to the network and that there are no restrictions on the device.

    What do you mean by restrictions and how could I check that?

    the device has restrictions in the Settings menu. Kinda like parental controls. GameCenter can be disable in those restrictions.

    Have you tried logging in or out of game centre manually before trying your game - you should be in sandbox mode for testing (can't remember how I got that working!)

    I tried both of you guys suggestions (turned GC on and off then logged back in) and it seems to fix itself as far as logging in and showing the leaderboards. Now I'm just having issues getting the scores to post. (same thing not doing anything) Though I think I saw another thread on that somewhere. Thanks a lot Eatingmyhat, tenrdrmer and singleSparq. You guys have been very helpful.

    Figure I'll throw this in here too. I am having the same problem now but only with the post scores. I get no error message nothing like the behaviors are not even there. I checked the code and it works fine on the computer saying. Gamecenter is not supported on the viewer but this is where the score of (45798) will be posted. I figure this is an Iphone/Apple issue but I was wondering if a. This had happened to anyone else and B. if there was a way around it to get it to work?

    Have you tried logging in or out of game centre manually before trying your game - you should be in sandbox mode for testing (can't remember how I got that working!)
    I am in Sandbox mode.

    Score posting issue might be related to another issue... I had these kind of issue when I used to enter the leader board name in the expression box vs. just on the behavior. At the end of it, I keep my strings in a table and refer to it - zero issues since...

    I know this may be a stupid question but I've never used the tables. When setting it up like you said can I still post the scores to Game Center?

    I was having the same problem. I tried this solution - using tables instead of entering the expression directly - and it worked a treat.
