Bug? Can't disable autorotate in 0.9.94

It doesn't seem that GS is respecting the autorotate settings of the scene. I've created an empty project. Set the scene to landscape left and right, unselected portrait and portrait upside down. Yet whenever I turn the device into portrait orientation (or upside down) it autorotates the scene. This is not how it is supposed to work. It should only respect landscape orientations. It seems to be a new bug in the 0.9.9x builds. I'm not sure exactly when it was first introduced as I have been idle for a while and just getting back into it.

I'm using GS Viewer 0.9.94 for testing. I haven't tried building an ad-hoc build. I'm using a Mac.

Is this a known bug?

@Orbz - Yeah man, it's a bug with 0.9.93 and 0.9.94 and GameSalad do know about it.

Not seen your grinning cyclops face around these parts recently!

Yeah, the viewer is messed up. When it returns to the correct orientation, the images have all been distorted. Works fine on adhoc though, so if you can put up with the viewer for now (cause, as you know, GS has a laundry list of priorities, some of which you've noted), the final product won't be affected. It certainly is nice to see the author of so many helpful demos back amongst us. Don't get too jaded with GS quite yet. :)

Sounds like it is the build setting for the viewer and not the game. Since the viewer is the shell app for the game, the autorotate setting is probably based on it and not based on the game you run. Since you might want to be able to test both portrait and landscape games with the viewer, it should either allow any rotation or have different versions for different orientation (which will be confusing).

In short, I don't think it is a bug, probably by design and a correct design decision. If you really want to separate viewer version for each orientation, you can probably change it in the code (look for UIInterfaceOrientation). Haven't tried it, but should be possible.

Your other option is to test an AdHoc... which is better in my prospective.

    another question.....
is there a way to re-format the game so it goes with the Auto rotate?
My game is Vertical, but if someone rotates the iPad, they loose all the buttons.
Is there a setting for figureing the orientation of the device?

So this bug is not related to my code, right? [-X

I've gone back to .92 since 93/94 will cause Nook/Kindle games to be rejected.
