    Hi @blito

Apple requires you to have the complete opposite of your chosen format as well; in other words, if your app is landscape, then make sure Landscape Left and Landscape Right are both checked in every one of your scenes, in the Scene Autorotate attributes. Similarly, if your game format is portrait, you need both Portrait checked as well as Portrait Upside Down.

@gyroscope - I think he means the bug in iOS Viewer in 0.9.93 and 0.9.94 where, even if you have only portrait checked, it rotates and messes up in landscape and all directions. GameSalad are aware of the bug and it will not be there in an Ad Hoc or when you publish to the App Store.

What the hell is this bug? I just installed 0.9.94, and now have this autorotate bug.

COME ON Game Salad! WHAT KIND OF QA is this?

Is there any way to fix it, or stop it from happening? Seriously...

And I don't mean WORKAROUNDS, I mean, a FIX for it.

I have a suggestion, Game Salad.

Get someone to roll back the source control to 0.9.94 release build, fix this bug, and any other major bugs with that revision, and release it again, as 0.9.941 or something.

I mean, this build has been out for weeks and weeks, and you just leave things like that in there???

What exactly does the TEST PLAN say for the person testing the iOS viewer, that they don't manage to load a test project, rotate the device, and see that the viewer is ignoring the defined auto-rotation parameters??

It just poked me in the eye 0.5 second after loading the first project onto the device.

I think that Game Salad need to have a good hard look at their test and release processes, if a Pro user is stuck using a build from 2 versions ago (0.9.92), because they can't upgrade to the latest version without encountering very annoying bugs (that should have easily been caught by any professional and thorough testing team).

If this is in the viewer, this won't happen when you publish. Just test adhoc and it should work. What happens in adhoc is exactly what will happen when published. Cool down man.

Makes testing a bitch. Sucks. Makes me sound like a 12 year old when I am 40 in 6 months, c'mon, sort this out please, accelerometer nightmares!

it's by design in the viewer, since the viewer supports all orientations, it is going to auto rotate in all directions.

i suggest you use the viewer only for basic testing. anything serious should be done via adhoc which does not have these issues!
