hey everybody, I'm interested in knowing how much money apple is given for a single app?

    Apple will take 30% of the price you set up for your app. So for a 1$ app Apple will take 0.30$ and will give you 0.70$.

    Sorry mate, but are you 4 years old or something? If you get 70%, it's obvious that Apple takes 30%.

    @TheMoonwalls You don't need to be 4 to have problems with math. Everyday I'm shocked with how many adults have difficulties even with the easiest calculations. :)

    @champ442 It will cost you 99$ to buy the Apple dev license and if you don't own a Mac add also that to the total :D

    It depends on price of your game. Just check Price Matrix in iTunes Connect - there's everything.

    Apple just emailed me and told me they are taking 135% of my game, leaving me with only 102%, plus I have to pay them an extra 11% every time someone deletes the game from their device.

    Ah, right I forgot about that. But you should also mention the 7% that is taken every time one of your games shows up on a search on the App Store :)

    Sorry guys, but I think we should stop joking - some younger users may get this seriously, and then we will be flooded with threads like this.
    Let's keep things clear for everyone, and not to confuse anyone.

    You have to pay Apple 99 USD for dev account, and then they take 30% from each sold app. You can find accurate numbers in Price Matrix in iTunes Connect.

    There are no other payments, and they don't take any more money. Unless you have iAds, or in-app purchases.
