• Tweaked my website a bit...

Hi, if you're interested in heading over to my website (shown in the signature) there's a number of changes if you haven't visited recently; and yesterday, I tweaked the intro page as well as the About page; more tweaking on it's way....

A suggestion: if you have visited this website before, choose Empty Cache... for Safari, or similar for other browsers, before you visit, thanks...

Are you an obsessive "website tweaker" on yours? :-) How often do you tend to add/update every month?

    Interesting layout on your site, I like!

    I was once an obsessive "website tweaker", but these days I tend to stick with the current design and change it when I feel necessary really. My personal website has been the same since last year, I have not touched it really apart from a few lines of text.

    My 'company' site, I tweaked that last month, but the previous design was there for a year with no tweaks inbetween.

    I guess everyone is different, some have obsessive web tweakism and others not so much :P

    :)) he he it actually works. I just cleaned my 2010 macbook pro screen, and the display has upgraded to retina. Wish I did this earlier!

    Hey guys, I've just re-discovered the most wonderful and efficient method for making your website appear more colour-saturated; it'll make the text easier to read and follow, make graphics sharper and more vivid too....

    It even works for GameSalad Creator as well...

    It's a bit complicated but worth it... and I bet you haven't used this method before, or if you have, not for a very long time.....

    Cool site!

    But the splash page situation is confusing. I feel like the entire page should be clickable and take you too the main site. Not just the 'welcome' button. And if you want it to just be that button, why not have it say "enter" so you know it's a button.

    When I first openend it up I was just clicking 'novels' etc. thinking they were links that just weren't finished yet or somthing.

    Other than that , it rules!

    Spot on suggestion, @andrewm2211, thanks very much. :-)

    As well as the list under the name – 'novels', etc – I did have 3 separate buttons but got rid of them when I updated cos I thought it was too much... don't know why I thought that at the time...

    I'll definitely be putting in page links back to those individual topics. I'll keep "welcome" rather than "enter" though (I think it sounds a bit friendlier!) but put a link to my "About" page from it.
