I want to have a variable set in one scene and the resulting variable cause an associated actor to appear in a subsequent scene. Please tell me how?

Thanks, Mr T. What do you mean by game.????? It looks like the "Attribute Browser" only recognizes Name, Time, Display Size, or Actor Tags... I want to remember something like "Ace of Spades", or "King of Clubs" so can I have a variable that I set with that information and have it checked in a later scene?

It seems like a pretty simple thing to want to do, but with no instructions, I am at the mercy of the developers - I really cannot fathom how this might be done, there are no examples...

Click the little plus [+] button on the left to add your own Attributes.

You should watch all the tutorial videos in the Support section. TshirtBooth and Weswog made a bunch of great introductory videos.

That should get you up and running much faster with a more solid footing.

The ????? refers to your custom name. You can name an attribute anything you want.

I second FMG...I think you need to do some tutorials and heavy reading if you are having trouble here. This is elementary stuff...and the only reason you would ask such a question is that you have not thoroughly read through the support section and you have not watched ALLLLLLLLL the video tutorials. No offense to you intended here...I just think you need to take a couple of days and do some heavy reading and then you will be much better suited for game dev. The info is out there... :)

Thanks, guys, I wish the information was not so scattered around... But I appreciate the pointers!

Its scattered...but there is a lot there. Just sit down and spend about 2 solid days sifting through it and you will be MUCH better prepared.
