Cover these years GS has been doing a great thing helps us to create games using their drag drop system to achieve basic coding logic, If they done this well I think this will be a coding revolution, We can simply drag drop these game logic instead of to type them again then set up your parameters to finish coding, This will save us so much time during game making.

During the same years, Cocos2D has also made a great thing, They has made their Cocos2D-X engine C++ base which can cross most of platform and the most important thing is they are going to develop CocosBuilder a Graphical Interface Builder which just like what the GS has done I believe that they also wanna make a GameCreater for everyone

So you both have same goal Why didn't GS just cooperate with Cocos2D ?

I hope the Lua-Free engine will allow third party tools to modify gamesalad, kind of like what Corona has. Also, I hope the performance will be similar to Cocos2D.

I think they didn't "cooperate" since gamesalad is more of an official company who makes money while Cocos2D is an organization with a free source for anyone to use so the business aspect would be complicated.

So far, With the Lua engine I think it's ok to use (they don't know when they can relase Lua-free engine) But it's better if they can optimize performance when transforming scenes.

When you are playing GS game it seems run well but it's very inadequate performance if you did some behaviors involved to change scenes

@zhongmincan can you explain more about cocosbuilder? I'm trying to learn cocos2d and I'm very interested in this! :)

I also want to learn cocos2d because it has so many functions and effects you can use, One thing you gonna need to learn is the program language like obj-c (for cocos2D)or c++(for cocos2D-x) .

The cocosbuilder is a tool that has graphic interface to quickly make cocos2d game
(cocos2d dosen't have any graphic interface you can only making game with code in Apple's Xcode )
    but it's still developing.
    here is cocosbuilder's website http://cocosbuilder.com/

Once you have finished studying programs maybe GS can release their Lua-free engine :-?
