Yes they would. But you need to ask the creator of the template if you can use the art and the levels...

In a template you can only use the code except for some where you can also use the art.

A template is only supposed to be a start point for your game. You should bring your own concept/artwork to the table, or there's no point.
If you are just hoping to make a quick buck without putting any work into the project you will be wasting your time.
Try using your brain and ingenuity and you may come up with something original that you can have a bit of pride in when you release it!
    Good luck !

I'm surprised the responses have been civil in this thread so far. @nikoss123 - A sure way to ostracize yourself in this community is to be a template pusher. It infuriates the community when someone buys a template, and then just uploads it to the app store as is. The game will not do well, because there are about 10 or 20 people that have already beaten you to it. Most templates you see can be found as is on the App Store, numerous times with nothing being done to it. Some even publish with the watermarks on the images.

You said you are new, so I just wanted to give you a little heads up before the flaming responses start pouring in to you about template pushing. I'm not trying to be a jerk, i'm just letting you know how this community feels about this particular situation. The templates are an excellent source for learning how certain gameplay is executed. If you can get your own art, and replace the images while still leaving all the original template code in tact is perfectly fine, but buying a template, and just uploading it to the app store is a big "no no" around here.

Good luck, and if you need any help with learning more about GameSalad, don't hesitate to ask. This is really a very helpful community.

EDIT: Oh wow... My post count is 1776...and I hit it on the 4th of July!

You posted this because you were/are thinking about doing it. Don't. It won't sell. Bad idea.
