Resolution Independence question .

hey guys ... when i open a new project i see the Resolution Independence spuar bottun..
what does mean.. is it means that 480*320 project will run on iphone 4 and 4s
and the same for the ipad or what ????

    no,
    if tick the resolution independence button, it means your 960*640 or 640*960 game will run perfectly on iPhone 4 and 4s and also the weaker iPhones like the iPhone 3gs.

    It means that if you press that button, when you go through the publishing process GS will create 2 sets of images: one for the low resolution devices and one for the high resolution devices.

    It may be good if you have an high memory consumption due to high res images on old gen devices. Otherwise it's only a good way to increase the file size of your app.

    and when i upload the build file to apple .. can i upload the iphone 4 and 4s alone and the 3g and 3gs alone and the ipade alone or what ?
