I did a fresh install on my computer with out backing it up (had no choice computer crashed) and now in order to test out my newest game i need get the key chain access stuff to all line back up.

From what i seen i need to make a new .csr and upload to apple. In order to do that i need to revoke my current one but can I do that with out losing my 4 months I still have left on it?

Thanks,

The same thing happened to me when I got my new Macbook. I had neglected to back up any of my certs. I ended up having to revoke them all and create new ones - haven't had a problem getting things submitted!

Yeah, like deadlights said, you wont have a problem getting things submitted. What you need to do is delete all certificates on your old computer. Then go to the developer portal on your new computer. Once your there you need to download all the certificates again. Then after thats done go to your profiles and make sure everything looks the same as before, then download them. You should then be good to go! Let me know if you have any questions.

    Cheers

I was worried I was going to have to deal with this same issue, but this is where Time Machine saved me a lot of headaches. I just got a new iMac Monday because my old ones hard drive died. It's 3 years old, and I wanted a Quad core and Thunderbolt anyway, so I got a new one. On startup of the new one, it asks if I want to do a restore from a Time machine backup, so I click yes. A couple more clicks and 3.5 hours later, I was back in business like nothing happened at all. I was surprised it put everything back, even all my certificates and profiles.

@SlickZero You've now convinced me to start using Time Machine :D
