Help with Tilt for Balancing Game

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to create a balancing game, you tilt the phone left and right and try to keep the object from falling off.
I can only use the accelerometer to move left, right, up and down, I can't get it tilt.

Does that make sense? Can anyone help me with this?

Yeah I did look at that but it only shows how to go vertically and horizontally.

I need mine to tilt on a angle
