Just wondering if there's an ETA on the next version. Really need to be able to publish to Kindle/Nook without the rotation issues.

The fact that this is still a feature showing in the pro membership features is kind of false advertisement. Sure you can export from GS and create a MAC formatted app for submission, but without sandbox it will not be approved...
Some of us are stuck with updates we can't get approved. I would ask that for the next version, GS focus more on quality/stability and not adding new features.
With all due respect, the Sandbox issue was not only implemented by Apple to be active months ago.. it was also delayed so that dev's had time to build it into their apps... I'd say that being unable to publish to the mac app store defeats the purpose of developing for mac..
I have a piece of software that I sell outside the appstore because apple will not accept it, based on my traffic, and my sales... I know I'd be selling 100x more, if not 1000x more if I could get it into the appstore.. (an app unrelated to gamesalad) but the premise is the same, selling an app at some random website is much much more difficult. IMO.
With all due respect, if that's true, then GS might consider changing the wording on this page:
http://gamesalad.com/creator#publish
It does specifically list Mac App Store as a GS feature, and that feature is broken, as acknowledged by GS. Maybe it should just say "Mac Desktop Publishing" ?
My game is in the Top 10 of Games-Kids and Top 150 of Games overall for Mac most days... so not being able to fix a bug that is preventing players from passing a level is extremely frustrating.
"Do one thing, and do it well"
I Think that other engines are better suited for desktop publishing, and gamesalad could be TOPS if it dropped desktop and focused solely on mobile features.
That said, as it is now it offers mac publishing and people will be disappointed if the feature isn't compatible with the app store.. That's to be expected.
Myself I don't have any desire at all to publish to mac, but I just wanted to drop a comment because it seemed like the blame was shifted to apples new regulations unfairly... they did give ample notice to all developers.
And surely you should have told us ages ago that you didn't have plans to account for MAS sandbox implementation, otherwise I would have made different developing decisions that now are risking to make the last few months of my work partly useless, and time here means money for most of us.
However, while I was taking a tour of the GS office last week, I saw how many things the GS team were working on. I had no idea how much stuff they do each and every day to make sure that we are taken care of and how hard they try to push out new features. I agree with @SaladStraightShooter - there are many more devs who publish to iOS and Android rather than MAS - and I think they are correct in setting that as their priority. I am not saying that MAS is not on their list, though. This is a problem, I know they will work hard to fix it.
Just my two cents...and I'm sure some may disagree.

I don't have anything about that. What's upsetting me the most is that you should have told us sooner about the Sandbox delay. You finally started making some rough roadmaps. In one of them you should have told us to not make long term projects regarding the MAS. I would have been ok with that.
Your big (very big) mistake is that you've waited until the first rejections before telling us that it wasn't a priority and that's very unprofessional. I cannot speak for others, but for me that will cause serious problems. I committed to deliver a MAS product before the Sandbox GS problem was known an now I'm finding myself in a very uneasy position with the much real possibility to lose money.
Just to add;
Anyone who wanted to publish for the Mac App Store or Android (Nook/Kindle) over the last month is also actively losing money.
