Getting frustrated trying to get ready for the iPad

Ok guys, so i have spent some fair time on my latest project and bar some tweaking and some optimizing to do, its almost ready. Thing is, its a 20mb game and will only run on a 3GS. As has been pointed out its seriously cutting the market as a lot bigger percentage is on 3G. So as it wouldnt be viable to re-do all my graphics, i have used a wonderful photoshop plugin called blow up 2 which has, as the name suggests, blown up my photos. So heres what i've done;
1024 / 480 = 2.13333
768 / 320 = 2.4
So all my images have been blown up by those calculations with a resolution of 72 (if it doesnt work out as a whole number i round up). I have to say, i expected them to be blurry but theyre not, they're really good. The problem is, i've dropped them into GS, when i drag them from the actors window they look crisp but when i drop them they blur! Any reason why? Oh and what file size projects are people experiencing who have something ready for ipad? Thanks

I use fireworks and it defaults to dpc, so I have blurred up image a few times before I realised what was going on.
I think I found it. There is something in the way that the engine places the actor that it gets blurry if it is at exactly a whole number on at least one dimension. We will examine this further for future releases. But until then, if you manually edit an instance, and add/subtract .5 from its position, then usually it will clear up the image on the GameSalad Creator scene editor.
Give it a try, it helped me.
