Can I currently create Android games without the pro version (I know I have to upgrade to publish)

I want to get the feel for creating games with Game Salad in the windows environment, can I create an Android game just to see the process even if I don't want to publish (or if I do, upgrade account then publish). If I can create an Android game, what do I select when creating a new project? Thanks!

    Yes, just create your for IPAD, an them when the time come and you have to publish the game, you can buy the GS PRO.

    I would actually recomend creating for kindle/nook since that is much closer to the aspect ratio and resolutions of most android devices. And yes you can build and even test android games with the android viewer without a pro license. You will just need to upgrade to publish.
