Hi all,

I've seen many questions regarding to exporting gamesalad project to Xcode, but for now it is not possible. If gamesalad team could make this feature available for pro version, I think more people would purchase it. Not only me, I believe that others would love to see this feature too. What do you think?

Thanks,

People use GS because they can't code, or their coding skills are low. So why do we need exporting to Xcode feature?

It would still be a nice Feature. If it was a pro only feature Gs would essentially be a fast proto-typeing tool for Coders. And Gs would still make money on those guys.

I would say though probably need to aim for a Code Language that covers more devices than just Xcode

I would like to see my games as Code to either Learn Code or Solidify how much I hate to code. :D

I like this idea. More control would be great.

A feature like this would make me <3 GS forever, and even forgive them for the recent annoying bugs. Not only would this be great for the ability to customize the app, but you'd no longer be dependent on GS staying in business to be able to compile your apps. However, from their perspective, I'm sure this would be an absolute support nightmare, which would make them very reluctant to do it. Considering the very basic questions that get posted/re-posted in this forum, can you imagine trying to deal with people that screwed something up in the source code and are now expecting support from GS?

I think this would be an excellent idea - We could even add our own features that GS have yet to integrate

I think something similar to unity engine where you can add scripts from C# or JavaScript.

@JustMe74 --Well, you can always re-download the creator and rebuild your game with GS's simple drag-from-one-to-another ability.

This would also be great for those Xcode guys who use this because it allows magnificent games to be built in days rather than months. And, if they want, they can go to the Xcode format and add the use of the iphone's navigation and e-mail use and all the other features in there!

Furthermore, GS would then become more friendly to outside programs. For example, there's Tap-to-tap use which requires you to implement it into the Xcode code--except we don't have that.

So yeah. It can be pretty useful!
