How old of a Mac can I buy and still be able to publish apps?

As I'm currently pretty broke, was just wondering how old/cheap of a Macbook I could buy just to use the license to publish. Thanks!

    If you already have a Windows desktop computer, you might consider a Mac Mini as an option... you can use your existing monitor, and they are surprisingly good machines.
