moving platform problem

i need help and wisdom with my problem, I made a moving platform that goes from left to right but when i have my player actor jump on top of the moving platform actor my player after beings to slide off then fall and not maintain a grip, I've played with the friction a bit but not seeing much progress. any help would be excellent thanks.

If i remember correctly i set the friction to 100 for the platform in the video.

I will have a proper look in the morning as im not at the mac atm.
