The art is animating wrong when the actor is colliding, can someone help me with this?

Does the character have an idle animation (a sort of default animation when nothings happen and theres no input from the player)? If so that might be animating while another animation begins due to an event (like the player coming into contact with the tree) and needs to be switched off when thats happening.

Fascinating video. Okay, so I watched it and I have no idea what you're talking about. And I'd like to help. When we work on our own project files, we have an intimate knowledge of what should be happening compared to what is actually happening, but... a little explanation of this would be helpful. Something like, "When the guy collides with the mushrooms, he should change into a butterfly 1.5 seconds later, but he doesn't."

Sorry, it was sarcasm and you really didn't deserve that. The video was fine, I just couldn't tell what you needed from your question. The more details, the better. Can you show us your Animate rules?
