Icon Shading Not Wanted

I'm building an Icon for our game. Is there anyway of turning of the automatic "Button Shading" thats added to the icon



I don't want that white upper shading on the icon.

Does anyone know if you can have Transparency in a icon too.

I don't think it's possible, because if you even remove the shading, apple will automatically put it back on when you add it to the app store.

You can turn off the gloss, in advanced settings while publishing with GS, apple will not put it back on.. Transparency? Im not sure how you mean, generally It is not recommended by apple..
