A question about blender

Hi everyone,
I have downloaded a blender animation file and when i went to look at it I realized that it was completely plain.
So i went back to the site and noticed i was supposed to download a png file as well to use as the texture.
Is anyone able to tell me how to add this texture onto my blender animation?
If so that would be GREAT!

This thread is being closed for a couple reasons. You received a reasonable answer and rejected it. We are trying to make out Q&A system worthwhile to future users. Therefore rejecting answer because you don't like them is not something we care to see.

More so however the Question type threads are intend for GameSalad related questions. Such as "how do I do xx------xx using GameSalad?"

Your question is about 3D graphics which GS does not even support. Please in the future Choose New Discussion for these types of questions.

3d is different then 2d.Unless your using a primative(usually primitives have uv's made and set), which your not seeing as you say you downloaded a animated model, theres alot more to it then just slapping a texture on it. You have to uv map it then apply the textures to the map ect. Blender might have a texture paint tool to directly paint the texture on but not sure about that as i use maya and mudbox. Either way youll have to look up tutorials online about textruing models in blender and itll take practice, not something someone can tell you how to do and then you automatically be able to do it perfect.

    cheers
