Can't seem to find the bug..

Hey all :)

I've submitted an app few times and keep getting the same message back from apple of why they are rejecting it..

"Specifically, we noticed that it is possible to use 'next' to advance from the splash screen to the instruction screen. However, when on the instruction screen, no action was produced when we tap 'next' or 'back'."

So apparently the next and back buttons aren't working in their test, but work fine when I test on my device. I've tried deleting all the next and back buttons from the app and adding in completely new ones, but that didn't seem to do the trick... any other suggestions?

thanks!
Kat

Just make sure that you try test it again, make sure your testing the next and back buttons on the instruction screen,

other than that, just try and upload it again.

Are you sure you uploaded the correct version of your game? Did you pop the change scene function into a timer and tick run to completion..When button is pressed after .5 seconds change scene... Also are you testing using the GS viewer,, or build an ad hoc version to test? It should be adhoc..

@TechNoir .. yep I'm uploading the correct version. I'm not using a timer to change the scene though (would this help?) The scene is just supposed to change when tapping the next or back button, which has worked fine for my other apps. And so far I'm only testing in GS viewer on my device and haven't done any adhoc versions yet.

    Hallo @katapps

Perhaps you're using Next scene and Previous scene in the Change Scene Behaviour? If so, try selecting the actual names of the levels to go to and go back to. Just a thought; might do the trick...

@gyroscope ... great idea. I will try that if my next attempt at submission gets rejected. (I deleted a sound file in the Next and Back button actors that I think may be corrupted.. but if that doesn't work, I will try selecting actual scenes like you mentioned.)

@jonmulcahy .. no adhoc yet. To be quite honest, I haven't learned to build adhoc yet and have only been testing in viewer on my iPad. If you have any good tutorials on this that you'd recommend, I'd be interested in checking them out :)
