Keyboard input not working?

When a new score is reached, you can put your name in to keep track of your individual progress. However, when you type your name in, it displays it and keeps it as a global attribute throughout the game, but when you go back to a previous scene, it doesn't seem to keep track of the score.

Any suggestions?
