Help on special scoring

Hi,
I have a grid on which we must have the tiles.
At the end of the game (when all the tiles are played), I want to consider only the greatest set of tiles that are touching each others. (for the scoring)
Could you help me ?

You are going to need to give a LOT more information if you expect anyone to be able to help you. What are "the tiles"? What does the "greatest set of tiles" mean? Try to be more specific.
