Update to my 'record position' question

Hi All,

Previously, I mentioned I worked out how to record an actors position on screen (http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/43204)

I have added a slider, corresponding to a timeline, so when I am recording it updates the slider position and moves. Then when not recording, if I move the timeline back with my finger/mouse, it updates the actors position from the table it previously recorded.

Now I have an issue where, if I only move the actor for 5 seconds but keep recording for the full 10 seconds, when I play it back the actor moves as expected between 1-5 seconds, but anything after it moves to position 0,0 (X,Y). This is because I left it where it was, so it didn't update.

I want it so that if recording, and not moving, it keeps recording position.

I also want it so if not recording, and not moving, and I move the timeline forward, it keeps it where it is.

I hope this makes sense, I know it may not, so please PM me and I can share project etc if you are willing to help.

Thanks,

I am actually working on fixing this with another GS Forum user, so once we fix it all I will share my findings if needed.
