Hey guys, I am using Gamesalad on Windows, and I am trying to figure out how I can edit two projects at the same time. Is that possible? to open two gamesalad windows. because for whatever reason. It wont let me open more then one at a time

    @skippertech

    I haven't messed around with the Windows Gamesalad much yet (simply because I'm more comfortable with the Mac version and I'm fortunate enough to have the option) but I tried a bunch of things and it doesn't seem possible at this time. I tried opening it directly from File>Open, opening from the Dashboard, and trying to run Gamesalad twice on my PC (as Admin), but it just opens the new project over the old one... So my guess would be that it's not implemented into the Windows version yet.

    If I figure out any kind of work-around, I'll let you know. (Likewise, if you figure it out, shoot me a message please.)

    Good luck!

    Okay I will. It just seems pretty pathetic. Also with all these templates for sale?!?!?! What the heck haha. I mean its bad enough I really am not able to combine projects without spending money. But I cant even open them both at the same time?!?!!

    I'll see if I can get the two instances to work. Ive done that with skype before. Fortunatly I do have a mac as well. I just like Windows much better. I am pretty much only gonna use my mac for building for iOS.. build the rest on windows. heh.

    Quite understandable. There are a few features in the Windows creator that I feel are already improvements over the Mac version, but, overall, it is still catching up. Once it gets to a more polished and completed state, I will probably switch over and use Windows as my primary building platform. But until then, I'll keep working in the Mac environment...

    I'm pretty sure it works. I know you can go from Mac to Windows, but I've honestly never tried to go from Windows to Mac. I'd give it a test, but I don't have a flash drive handy and my hard drive is formatted to PC only... If I try it out later, I'll let you know.
