"Revealing" an Actor

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know if it is possible to "reveal" an actor (for lack of a better word) with a "wipe" effect? What I mean is, I have an actor that is a tree. I want the tree to look like it's growing from it's bottom to it's top. (I'm not talking about a scale or an interpolate)
Like in Keynote or PowerPoint, you can "build in" an object on your slide in a number of different ways - dissolve, move in, spin, etc. Well one of them is "wipe". Is there a way to replicate that effect in GamesSalad.
Hope this question even makes sense for people. Thanks for any help you might have!!
