Fade In/Out broken?

Has any one else noticed that the fade In and fade out code no longer works in the latest build? (http://gamesalad.com/wiki/how_tos:gsc_fade_image_in_and_out)
Unfortunately, I used this code in many actors...
Is this a bug? Anyone else running into this problem?
