do u think it is wise for me to go pro? i am now working on my first game and have found out that there is a splashscreeen of gs on free membeership. do u think it will affect sales?
thanks for advice! i have spent many hours building my first app which is simple but was a popular blackberry game. i am now worried if apple rejects my app..
Just like @SaladStraightShooter, I'm confused as to why you WOULDN'T want your custom splash screen to display?
What I do on my apps is put a "Loading" screen there, and then I actually use the initial scene as my splash screen (because it's retina and it has sound). There is really a lot of flexibility to what you can do.
You could also just leave it blank and have 6 seconds of black screen until your first scene loads.
2. If you're a free member, you get a more games ad at the beginning of the game.
3. If you're pro, you can put in your own custom splash screens with your own logo, but it isn't mandatory.
@nick98 - When publishing on the second screen there is an advanced options button in which you can upload your own.
Personally I don't like the idea of having ads on my paid games so I think pro is the better option. I'm enjoying my options with pro so far and expect it to only get better.

When exactly does the splash screen occur?
If you had pro, that wouldn't occur?
