Hi I'm really excited to show you guys my newest game, Bow Assassin. I released it for Amazon first to hopefully get some feedback and make an even more polished improved version before releasing for iOS. If you have a Kindle Fire or other Android device please try it out and let me know what you think, thanks!

    That looks pretty cool. Nice animations on the enemies when they get hit with an arrow. Hope it does well for you.

    @creativeapps - I will release for iPhone and iPad soon but I wanted to get feedback on Amazon and add some more content as well. It won't be very long though and I'll post when it's on iTunes for sure.

    @patapple - I'll post how rank/sales are doing a bit later. It was released today so I don't think many apps get lots of sales w/out marketing on day one. It hasn't appeared on the new release list yet so once it does the sales will start. With my other app Duck Shot sales have been great. It's broken 6k sales on Amazon and only been out for less than 2 months.

    I've been waiting for this release ever since you posted the WIP. Love it! Great job! Looking forward to the iOS release! I especially like the way you have the moving
    masked background on the level chooser.

    nice graphics. cool layout of how you need to do specific things to kill the guy. the animation for the guy dieing is pretty cool.

    I just want to thank everyone for their support so far. Bow Assassin is off to a great start. It's listed #4 in the Movers and Shakers list at the moment. It went from being unranked as a new release yesterday to #311 overall so far today. Here's hoping it hits the top 100 soon!

    @patapple - Bow Assassin is getting a good start similar to my other successful app (Duck Shot) on Amazon. It sold 9 the first day and 34 the second day (yesterday). It hopefully will have the momentum to reach the top 100 bestsellers list in the next couple days. It's at #222 overall apps now. I have two apps on Amazon that did like 10-15 downloads a day their first week but that was only enough to get rank #300-#400 overall. They didn't get a solid start and once they left the new release list were dead. It doesn't take a ton of downloads to get a good start on Amazon but it's super critical because the app's visibility on the new release list is vital. The new releases list is based on rank against all other new releases in the past 7 days, so the higher you can get it in that list on day 1 and 2 will make or break your app.

    Hi everyone, just an update... it's been doing fairly well so far. If you bought it, thanks so much for your support and I hope you've enjoyed playing Bow Assassin! It needs a bump to get into the top 100 though, and has been floating around #160-220 on the charts. If you have an android device please check out Bow Assassin today and help it make the top 100 list :)

    Thanks Braydon, so I just checked this morning and it's SO close to getting in the top 100. Its at #127 overall! It just needs a nudge :)

    btw, it's at 107 overall and 89 in games now... the highest it's ever been :)

    Victory! It just hit #100 overall apps. This was quite unexpected as it was selling about 20-30 a day and suddenly sold 90 yesterday. It reached just shy of the top 100 during it's release week, but this is the highest rank it's achieved so far.

    Oooh, I found out why it shot up the ranks. It's actually a "Featured New Games" on the kindle store! There a few different groups of featured apps it cycles through, but mine is the one with Gameloft's "Monster Life" and "Call of Mini:Zombies." It appears on the top banner on the device when you open the store... cool!!!

    So Bow Assassin is today's "Free App of the Day" on Amazon. It's currently #1 on the free apps list. So far today it's received 80k downloads. If you wanted to try it then today is the day to get it! As expected there's quite a few 1 star reviews that apps get when they cater to the free app crowd (many complaints about network access "permissions" that GS automatically includes), but if you like it and could leave an honest review for me then that would be great. Thanks!
