When "Publishing" does the code get released to a shared folder?

I am not ready to do that yet, but I want to get a copy to test on my iPhone/iPodiTouch. Can I assume that the publishing process simply takes the current state of my app source code (configurations) and creates an executable for my own personal use?

    I'm not quite sure what your asking, but when you publish your game you choose the destination folder.... For the second part if I correctly understand what your asking.. yes it does..
