Preview seems to change when i try it a few times?

Hi there people im very new to gamesalad for mac.
Ive been starting to make a very simple game, when i preview at first my animations seems fine. But then after a few times when i click my animation it just start to show two pictures from the animation and then stop.

it just did the same thing with my background, when i went into preview mode it just shows me a tiny square of the background and then doesnt work.

Hmm i did something and now atleast the backgrounds seems to work. Im not sure what i clicked or how i triggered this behavior.
