Apple noob: Is there a highscore system in place? Can I use it in Windows GS?

Just curious on what happens to high scores, is there a way to link them up with other iphones/pads? FYI I don't own either yet so I don't know if there's a system in place for that. Thanks!

    There are game center leader boards which are through apple. You need an apple developer account and a mac (to publish with).
