I am trying to create a game for ipad3 and mac, what is the maximum image dimensions for background i can use?

2048x1536 for retina graphics which will display at 1024x768

Hi Jon; I'm pretty much certain that it's 2048 x 2048 for retina (1024 x 1024 max. for non-retina....) correct me if I'm wrong...
