Waiting times about Google Dev account...

Hi,
Four hours ago i registered for Google play developer, but until now i read this message:

"Your Registration to Google Play is still being processed"
"You can upload applications to Google Play but you cannot publish until your registration is completed"

when they complete the registration?
And i cant access in the section "Setup Merchant Account" i hope because my account is in process...

Uff... im very boring with google play account...
Again in my dashboard after one day appears:

"Your Registration to Google Play is still being processed"
You can upload applications to Google Play but you cannot publish until your registration is completed"

And the "Setup Merchant Account" section is locked....

I wrote to google, and google say:

"Thank you for your notes. The Google Checkout team is currently Investigating your report.
Regards,
The Google Team Play"

What can i do???

Wait times vary. It took me about a day. If you get the ball rollin by uploading an apk and get your bank account verified it'll probably speed things up.

Thanks, your news encourage me.
I hope to resolve with google play help center...
unfortunately i don't have access in the "Setup Merchant Account" to
add my bank info, i click this section and nothing happens,
I also changed my browser safari into chrome and nothing happens.
Uff... I'm really frustrated by this procedure.
