I'm stuck. Motion issue.

SO my actor moves via the touchscreen

There is an actor covering the whole screen that constrains device.touchx and device.touchy
to two attributes

The actor then has "accelrate towards" locked to those points with about 100 acc and about 65 drag to move him towards your finger. Ttop speed at 65 as well (motion feels to be about right for the gameplay with those numbers)

PROBLEM is this.... When he gets to the x,y point he kinda wigs out and just jiggles like he is going back and fourth REALLY fast between two points that are only a couple pixils apart.
Its almost like he contunually overshoots his target by .01cm and keeps trying.

Also if you keep him moving he's fine. Only wigs out when you just want him to come to a stop.

Any ideas how to get him to just stop

thanks

Not at home so can't check at the moment.

However, I wanted to ask, is your game area bigger than the screen size? I have a game that uses touch to move to a certain position, but it doesn't seem to work if I want to have an area bigger than the screen.

For the record, I never used drag and it seems to work fine. As long as I don't stray off the screen!

    nope 480x320

i added drag because there are some tight turns and the actor was flying to his death to easy but if losing drag fixes it i can mess with speeds and stuff.

    thanks
that gives me something to work with!
