Is there an easy way to display pages of text?

Like instructions on a scene, using an invisible actor to advance?

    I usually make an image in photoshop with a transparent background and then type the text in there.
    usually ends up with a pretty small file size, especially if you save as png8

    plus you get to use whatever font you like

    How do you get it to scroll if there is more text than one page?

    Scroll the image... you could create a scroll bar that would work like a computer window.
