Preferred day for launching an app on iOS store?

Hi all,

As the title suggests - I'm wondering if, and when, there is a preferred day for releasing an app to the wilds of the iOS app store?

My app is now Ready For Sale (details coming shortly), but I'd like to pick a time that will maximise its chances of being noticed.

Any thoughts?

    I always try to release on Wednesday.
    But since I have no successful title yet I might be wrong ;)
    There are different readings about this and some say the opposite of the other.
    But from what I read a part of the magic from getting noticed has to do with getting better sales on days in a row. So day 1: sell 10 apps, day 2: 20, and day 3: 30.
    So when you bring it out on a Wednesday you can get this because as you come closer to the weekend apps sell better.
    The last thing is something I am sure of. I always get more sales on Saturday and even more on Sunday.
    All and all there is no science in this (is it magic? ;) ) but it might help you.
