Help with saving high score

I know this has been asked several thousand times, but I can't seem to find it :(

basically I have a game.score attribute and I add on to it with a timer, and then once you die, it stops it and displays it on the next scene...

then I just want to take that score and display it on the main menu, but I also want it to save and then if I get a better score I would like it to replace it..

any help would be greatly appreciated! :) Thanks in advance! If you don't feel like explaining it, if you could point me to a tutorial that would also be much appreciated:)

You also need a high score attribute so that if game score is greater than high score change attribute high score to game score. You need a save on the scores and a load on the scene Cant remember all ad I'm driving. Also key check YouTube gamesalad high score

oh nice, one quick question then, ok I used if game.score is higher than game.highscore change game.highscore to game.score.......

Alright that works perfectly, how would I save it, I don't know what I've been doing wrong, but I go to save it and load it, but it doesn't matter what score I get it always changes to the gam.score :/

    Any suggestion? Thanks in advance!
