I need to put together some kind demo reel for gaming for my music and sound design. I don't really know how to code sound but I guess my question is, should I try to use Game Salad to try to practice putting in my own sounds and music inside of there? What are you opinions because it's been kind of hard to get a team together that wants to work together and if I want to get involved in any projects in the future I KNOW I need a demo reel.

no, i dont see where gamesalad would do anything for you that could not be done better in other ways.

you say thats your question. it takes about a second to get a song to play in gamesalad. but i dont know what that would achieve for you as a composer.

if you want your music in a game, theres constantly people on here asking for music, offer to help them out, or put up a post about offering music to game makers for reasonable rates.

Well I was told also in the sound design aspect that it would be good to know how to script in the sounds that you design into the game engine. Im just trying to get my sounds in a demo or something not for money right now but more for a demo reel.
