Any suggestions for maintaining/prepairing your mind for work?

Hi all,

I have a problem. And (probably) this problem isn't just about making games. The thing is, I just can't keep working on any project. I can understand if I don't do some homeworks or if I skip school for a day or two but not working on games is the ultimate point of laziness I guess.

Because I did make about $4000 in 6-7 months before I stopped making games. And that is a good money considering I'm a university student. But for some reason whenever I start a new project I just can't keep working on it. It has been a year since I completed a game project. I have a few projects that is ~60% complete and all I want to do is to complete them, buy a developer license and release them. But I can't set my mind properly.

The biggest mystery is I actually ENJOY making games. So why can't I work on them?

Do I need mental help? lol

You guys have any tips about this issue? Or any time scheduling methods/softwares you can suggest? Or anything at all?

I had 3 months of holiday. I spent 2 months doing nothing. I have 1 more month to do something...

    1. Make a game you want to play.
    2. Make a To-Do list (also known as checklist) for each day - like: tomorrow I have to make HUD graphics, main actor rules, etc.

I like to mix up how I work, a couple of hours on graphics then a couple of hours on coding/behaviours. Keeps me ticking over.
