What are Custom Behaviors?

I've been seeing that tab for a while now and wondering what it's all about? Is it a way to programmatically define new behaviors or like a way to chain default behaviors? Also is it an active feature at the moment, since I find mine disabled.

It is an active feature. It allows you to drag and drop a rule, behavior, or group into it so you can grab it at any other time. It is essentially a more robust copy and paste system.

its just a place to store your most used rules, so you can transfer them to other actors, you can even put large groups of rules in there and drag them out onto another actor at any time.

@acceleratedgames @rhinokey Thank you! This is a nice feature. ;)

The name of the tab kind of misled me though. "Custom Behaviors" initially gave me the impression that it's the place where you alter built-in behaviors with some advanced scripting.

"Behavior chain", "aggregated behaviors" or perhaps "behavior tray" would be a more appropriate name for the function. :P

It will be very helpful nonetheless. I'll go try it out. :)

Yeah.... Everything what everyone said above...

Say if you have a ton of actors that need to do the same thing.... Just drop and drag the behavior into "custom behaviors" and it makes things a lot easier on you. Also- you can name your custom behaviors as well so this should help if you have a number if customs.

    Give it a try.
