Trying to upload app to itunes and...

I pick the app that GameSalad sent me, and it tells me that it needs a .zip or .ipa. I zip the GS app and it makes a nice little folder with a plethora of info inside, when I try to upload that, Apple says "no app in there".

Catch 22? What do I do?

    Just right click the .app file and click compress "filename" and then upload the .zip file to apple. I had the same issue at first, but it makes sense now :O
