What is the benefit of functions in game salad as well as "custom" in behaviors?

I am wondering hat is the benefit of functions in game salad as well as "custom" in behaviors?

    Hi Adil, functions are mathematical formulas to help you perform certain calculations, etc., in GSC. For instance, using floor will round down to the nearest whole number, random will produce any number between a minimum and maximum number scale, etc.

    They are all listed in the Cookbook; just search for each one and you'll find a description of what each one does.

    Custom is short for Custom Behaviours. This is used for your own lists of rules and behaviours that you want to save as a group for copying across to another actor's rules.

    To do this you simply select a group of rules and behaviours then drag them into the custom area, then name or rename the group if you wanted.

    Now when you go to another actor's editor, you can drag out the group there in one go, to save you copying and pasting, or even making them all again one by one.
