Changing Collision Area

One last thing for my Hit n' Run complete version :).

OK, so I have it where dying resets you at your starting position. Sound is finally working, and so is gameplay. The levels are consistent. My only problem is that no matter what I do, when you play, you can hide in plain sight so that all the bullets catch into the corners of the game. What is going on??? I have tried making collision area a circle, changing the size of the bullet, and changing the size and collision area of the walls, and nothing seems to work.

Anybody who can help?

So they're sticking to the corners and not able to get out? You could try and multiply their velocity by -1 so they spin around when they collide..

No, it's so that they get caught in and are destroyed by corners.

Can you post a video? I don't quite understand what's happening but I'm sure we can help you once we know.

I can't make videos right now. Sry. Just want to know how to change the shape of the collision area anyways.

Actually, I came across some luck! I changed collision area back to a rectangle, and now bullets don't get caught! Now to update the graphics, and I'm all done!

    Glad to hear it's working!

So much for fixed. My boss (my dad._.) says this isn't working because the graphics get smaller. So much for that. Anyone else with help?

You'll need to figure out a way to share a link to your project file (compressed as a .zip file) or a video of the game in action. If you have a Mac with Quicktime Player, you can record the screen. Then, upload it to a YouTube account or a filesharing service such as Dropbox or MediaFire.

You're familiar with your game so when you write "the bullets catch into the corners of the game" or "the graphics get smaller" it makes sense to you. But I have no idea what you're talking about without having a screenshot, video, or access to your rules.
