Which is the size of the Iphone portrait background?

Hi everyone,
I would like to know which is the size of the Iphone portrait in the creator (to make the background fit in)

And 640x960 for retina

I always work with retina, so if you have the "resolution independence" in the "Home" section of the creator under "Project Info" box checked, you should use the 640x960. And any graphics you create should be double the size you want them to show up as onscreen. So if you have an actor that you know you want to be 64x64 onscreen, then that graphic should be 128x128. GameSalad will auto re-size it to 64x64, and you will be all set for retina, and even if people that don't have retina displays will still be fine.

So, what do you recommend to do? with 320x480 or 640x960

I always do it in retina But graphics are larger etc. then, so if you have no
problems use retina images !

If you also do retina display you have a better chance to get featured.... Apparently Apple will not feature anyone who doesn't have retina graphics anymore.
