Camera Problems

In my game I have made it so the tracking area of the camera is 0 by 0 and that my sprite has the control camera behavior. When my sprite starts the game it is located in the middle of the lower half of the camera but when goes up one of the flights of stairs in the game the sprite moves to the exact middle of the camera. How do I make it so that my sprite stays in the lower half of the camera? Thanks in advance!

    Have a separate actor control the camera that contrains its position to MainCharacter.Position.X + 200 and MainCharacter.Position.Y + 200.

    That works but makes everything really jittery, do you have any other ideas?
