iPhone HD to iPad HD, I'm doing right?

I created my entire project in iPhone HD with resolution independent marked. All images in 2x. All right.

After I started to move to iPad HD. I made a copy of the project, changed to iPad, altered the size of the camera to 320x480, and import all images in 4x. When testing the iPad 3 the result was not good, distorted images and of course not in HD.

It is possible to do that anyway? or am I doing it wrong?

Thanks for any help.

Did you change the DPI of the images? You may want to increase the resolution to prevent the blurriness.

All images are at 72dpi. You suggested to increase the dpi for iPad HD?

    Thanks.

Ipad 3 images have to be 4X the size of regular iPhone images for that to work.

Yes, all are already at 4x for iPad 3. However the problem persists.

Did you make your background image 2048x1536 or vice versa. and your project screen size 1024x768? Im not sure im getting what your asking. Sounds like your taking images from a iphone project and using them in a ipad project.
